The Workers Party of Hungary (Hungarian: Magyar Munk sp rt, or MMP) is a far-left political party in Hungary that was founded in 1989. The party is led by J¢zsef G l, a former member of the Hungarian Socialist Workers’ Party, which ruled Hungary as a single-party state from 1956 to 1989. The Workers Party of Hungary is a Marxist-Leninist party that advocates for the establishment of a socialist state in Hungary. It is a small party with little political influence and has not won any seats in the Hungarian parliament.
