The Party of Hungarian Renewal (Hungarian: Magyar Meg£jul s P rtja, or MMP) was a political party in Hungary that was active between 1991 and 1998. The party was founded by Istv n Csurka, a controversial writer and politician who was known for his nationalist and anti-Semitic views. The Party of Hungarian Renewal was a right-wing party that was known for its nationalist and conservative ideology and was opposed to immigration and EU membership. It was a small party and never won any seats in the Hungarian parliament. The party was dissolved in 1998 after Csurka left to form a new party, the Hungarian Justice and Life Party.
