STS-131 was a Space Shuttle mission to the International Space Station (ISS) flown by Space Shuttle Discovery. The mission launched on April 5, 2010, and was the twenty-third shuttle mission to visit the ISS. The primary objective of the mission was to deliver and install the Integrated Cargo Carrier-Vertical Light Deployable (ICC-VLD), which was filled with supplies and equipment for the ISS, and to perform maintenance and repair work on the station. The mission also included the rotation of the crew of the ISS.
