“ST-Nizhegorodsky” – experiment with mixing of ancient slavic letters style called Vyaz with modern condenced grotesque. This font is dedicated to 800th annivesary of the city of Nizhny Novgorod (est 1221 AD), one of the oldest russian city. It’s 100% recognizable as a native font for cyrillic users and has strong ethnic taste for latin users. The letterforms are straight and condensed and come in 2 styles: uppercase and small caps alternatives (Take a look at the cyrillic glyphs if you want more alternative letters.).
