About Translated from original German description: A request in the Typografie.info forum gave me the idea of ??putting a Western sister to my typeface “Kaufhalle”. Another font inspired by a supermarket chain
This time I’ve grabbed a design by Raymond Loewy for a chain of stores founded in the Netherlands in 1932, based on the voluntary cooperation of self-employed merchants, which takes its name from the acronym of its Dutch motto “Door Enormous seeds benefit all regularly” :-).
Since sub-brands were invented here for markets of different sizes, and the letters are sometimes rounder, sometimes squarer, I designed the fonts a bit freely, and then came up with 2 variants, one square and one round. If you now think that I could have saved myself that, you can also save yourself this comment.
