Pearl Jam is an American rock band that was formed in Seattle, Washington in 1990. The band’s original lineup consisted of Eddie Vedder (vocals), Jeff Ament (bass), Stone Gossard (guitar), Mike McCready (guitar), and Dave Krusen (drums). Pearl Jam is known for its powerful, emotive sound and its deep, thoughtful lyrics. The band’s most popular songs include “Alive,” “Jeremy,” “Better Man,” and “Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town.” In 1994, Dave Krusen left the band and was replaced by Jack Irons. Over the years, Pearl Jam has released 11 studio albums and has sold over 60 million records worldwide. The band continues to tour and release new music.
