NBC (short for National Broadcasting Company) is an American television network. It was founded in 1926 and is headquartered in New York City. NBC is one of the five major broadcast networks in the United States, along with CBS, ABC, FOX, and The CW. It is owned by the NBCUniversal Television and Streaming division of Comcast. Some of the popular shows that have aired on NBC include “The Tonight Show,” “Saturday Night Live,” “Friends,” “The Office,” and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.”
