Maroon 5 is an American pop rock band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 1994, the band is known for its catchy melodies, upbeat rhythms, and smooth vocals. Maroon 5’s lineup includes lead singer Adam Levine, keyboardist Jesse Carmichael, bassist Mickey Madden, and drummer Matt Flynn. The band has released six studio albums, with their most recent, Red Pill Blues, coming out in 2017. The band’s debut album, Songs About Jane, was released in 2002 and contained the hit singles “Harder to Breathe,” “This Love,” and “She Will Be Loved.” Maroon 5 has sold over 75 million records worldwide and has won three Grammy Awards. The band continues to tour and release new music.
