Sending a letter in movies looks easy. All you have to do is to put the letter in the mailbox and it would miraculously show up at the doorstep of the intended receiver right before the huge dramatic reveal. However, a lot of work goes into the postal system, including the passage of letters though multiple offices in order to get stamped and delivered again.
