Ever since we were kids, we were taught that milk is good for our health, that it will make us stronger. But in the last couple of years, people started drinking other alternatives to real cow milk, such as almond milk or coconut milk, thinking that they are healthier. Today we are here to spread awareness, to let you know that plant-based food cannot be called “milk”, they are simply considered beverages. Quinoa, rice, almond, or coconut “milk”, don’t have the same nutritional benefits that real milk has, such as protein, calcium, potassium, etc.
