The German Rowing Association (Deutscher Ruderverband or DRV) is the national governing body for the sport of rowing in Germany. It was founded in 1883 and is therefore one of the oldest sports associations in Germany. The DRV is a member of the International Rowing Federation (FISA) and the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB). The DRV is headquartered in Frankfurt am Main and is divided into 16 state associations. It is responsible for the organization and implementation of national and international rowing competitions in Germany, the training of coaches and referees, and the promotion of rowing in Germany.
