Daisy Systems Corporation was an American company that developed, manufactured and marketed computer-aided design (CAD) systems for electronic and mechanical design. Founded in 1980, it was a leader in the development of interactive computer-aided design (ICAD) systems and one of the first companies to develop a graphical user interface (GUI) for electronic design automation (EDA) software. Daisy Systems was a public company, traded on NASDAQ under the symbol DYSC, it was acquired by Mentor Graphics in 1990.
