About Color Basic is a typeface inspired by the TRS-80 Color Computer. In 1980, the TRS-80 ?CoCo? was released. The initial models lacked a lowercase set. They were substituted by a set of inverse capital characters, which looked like proper lowercase only when printed on paper?how bizarre. Color Basic emulates the constraints of the TRS-80?s unique character set. It includes a slew of accents and symbols, as well as a set of block elements for creating your own low-res images.
