The Volunteer Generation Fund (VGF) is a grant program administered by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), a U.S. federal agency that promotes volunteerism and community service. The VGF provides funding to organizations that support volunteerism and promote the involvement of volunteers in their communities. The goal of the VGF is to strengthen the capacity of organizations to engage volunteers and to increase the impact of volunteering on the community. The VGF provides grants to organizations that are working to recruit, retain, and recognize volunteers, as well as to those that are developing new approaches to involving volunteers in their work.
