Tiefbau Berlin VE Kombinat (Volkseigener Kombinat, or “People’s Own Combine”) was a state-owned construction company based in East Berlin, East Germany (now Berlin, Germany). The company was founded in 1950 and was involved in a variety of construction projects, including the construction of buildings, roads, and infrastructure. Tiefbau Berlin VE Kombinat was a key player in the East German construction industry and was known for producing high-quality work for both domestic and international markets. With the fall of the Berlin Wall and the reunification of Germany, the company was privatized and is now known as Tiefbau Berlin GmbH.
