The newspaper was primarily focused on business and financial news and provided coverage of European and global markets. It had a separate editorial staff and content from its sister publication, The Wall Street Journal, which is based in the United States. The Wall Street Journal Europe had its main offices in Brussels and London, and was distributed throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The newspaper was closed on December, 2018 but WSJ.com is still available in Europe with a paid subscription
