STS-67 was a NASA Space Shuttle mission that launched on March 2, 1995. The mission was flown by Space Shuttle Endeavour and was the second flight of the Astro observatory, a Spacelab module which was used to study celestial objects and cosmic rays in the ultraviolet and X-ray spectra. The mission patch for STS-67 features the Space Shuttle Endeavour flying through a field of stars, with the Astro observatory visible in the payload bay. The patch also includes the mission insignia, which is a stylized letter “A” representing the Astro observatory and the mission’s focus on astronomy. The mission motto, “Exploring the Cosmos,” is written around the edge of the patch. The mission lasted for 15 days, 23 hours, and 37 minutes and ended with a successful landing on March 18, 1995.
