STS-130 was a Space Shuttle mission to the International Space Station (ISS) flown by Space Shuttle Endeavour. The mission launched on February 8, 2010, and was the twenty-second shuttle mission to visit the ISS. The primary objective of the mission was to deliver and install the Node 3 module, also known as the Tranquility module, and the Cupola observatory to the ISS. The Node 3 module provided additional living and working space for the ISS crew, while the Cupola observatory provided a 360-degree view of the Earth and space. The mission also included the delivery of supplies and equipment to the ISS and the rotation of the crew of the ISS.
