About Springmarch is an original typeface inspired by a sample of a font called ?Lyric? spotted in a 19th century type specimen book. It?s not a re-creation of it, the original was much spikier. This development takes it from Goth to Steampunk. ?Springmarch? is taken from the words chosen by the typesetter of the specimen book.
The character set of 671 glyphs includes support for virtually every language which can be written in Latin script. It includes a selection of ligatures. These characters can be accessed by either choosing an appropriate keyboard layout in the International preferences panel, or via the Special Characters…/Glyphs menu option (the name seems to vary depending on the application).
