Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) is a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School located in Boston, Massachusetts. It is the third-oldest general hospital in the United States and the oldest and largest hospital in New England. MGH is a level 1 trauma center and has a number of specialized centers and institutes, including the MGH Cancer Center, the MGH Heart Center, and the MGH Neurosciences Center. The hospital is known for its research and clinical innovation and has been ranked as one of the top hospitals in the country by U.S. News & World Report.
