Computer Corporation of America (CCA) was an American computer manufacturer and developer of advanced computer systems, founded in 1965, and was based in Massachusetts. The company specialized in the development of large-scale and advanced computer systems, including scientific supercomputers, mainframes and minicomputers, which were used in a variety of industries including aerospace, defense, and research. CCA was known for its line of advanced supercomputers and large-scale systems, and its products were used by government agencies, research institutions, and large corporations. They also offered software and services to support their hardware. CCA was considered to be a major player in the supercomputer industry, but due to the high costs of R&D and competition from other manufacturers, the company went out of business in the early 1990s.
