Cardano is the name of a blockchain platform, founded in 2015 by the Ethereum co-founder Charles Hoskinson. The platform operated on its cryptocurrency called ADA. The ADA coin is one of the top ten cryptocurrencies by market capitalization and ranks behind Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Coin, XRP, and Tether.
