The Belgian Chamber of Representatives is one of the two chambers of the federal parliament of Belgium, the other being the Senate. It is composed of 150 members who are elected to represent the Flemish, French, and German-speaking communities in Belgium. The Chamber of Representatives is responsible for making laws and overseeing the work of the government. It meets in the Palace of the Nation in Brussels, the capital of Belgium. Members of the Chamber of Representatives are elected for four-year terms and represent a specific district in Belgium. The Chamber of Representatives is led by a President, who is elected by the members of the chamber. The current President of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives is Siegfried Bracke.
